Crafty Inspiration

I must say I belong to a really cool SNB group! The women I've met at our meetings are CRAFTY! It's very inspirational. So being all inspired, here are some cool things you should know about......

Button Bracelets 1 and 2 - They're fun and beautiful!
Will Knit for Tattoos - An essential tote for knitters with ink!
Spindle Kits - These come with a drop spindle, a few different fibers, and instructions in a drawstring canvas tote. I can't wait to learn how to spin! My kit has alpaca fiber in it......oooooo alpaca!
The Nina Shawl from Mason-Dixon Knitting - This is on my list to make!!!

New Resolutions Revised and New Book

Hey all! Okay so Happy New Year and all that. How many checks have you written with 2006 on them? Hehehe I do that every year. So far this year so good! So down to business, here is what I'm pretty sure is my final list of resolutions, um, at least for the time being!

~Get organized, seriously I am the Queen of Clutter.
~Get Motivated, I am also Her Majesty of Procrastination.
~Learn to have more patience.
~Get a sewing machine and learn how to use it. Without sewing through my finger, yes I actually did that in middle school Home Ec.
~Learn how to make jewelry.
~Learn how to spin my own yarn.
~Organize and catalog my knitting supplies and yarn, as well as my other crafty supplies.
~Finish the cross stitch witch I started a couple years ago!
~Start and finish a knitted blanket for Dave.
~Knit something super special just for myself, I don't know what that will be yet. Hmmmm?
~Finish up with my Belavi Facelift Massage certification.
~Get the family involved in some sort of activity we can all participate in.....horses, atvs......?

I think that's a pretty good list! Wish me luck!

I started a new book yesterday. Dave went to the local Barnes and Noble and he ASKED if I wanted anything. I have to say he's a good guy. Ya know, not many men will pick up their wife a romance novel. Or especially a romance/erotica novel! Hehehe! The last time he picked anything up for me the people behind the counter poked fun at him! Hahahaha! Anyway, Dave brought me home "Prince of Ice" by Emma Holly. He made sure everyone knew it wasn't for him. They said "of course it isn't" ; )~

Happy New Year, Happy Knitting! Thank you, that is all!

New Year Resolutions

Okay, so here comes 2007! I usually don't do the whole New Year Resolution thing but this year I am definately setting some goals for myself! So here's what I have so far......

~ I will strive to be more motivated and organized
~ I will strive to have more patience.
~ I will get a sewing machine and learn how to use it!
~ I will catalog and organize my knitting supplies and yarn.
~ I will get back into cross stitch.
~ I will get my Belavi Facelift Massage Certification.

Okay, that's all I have for right now. I'm sure I'll have more to post later. This new year is bringing a LOT of change to our family! We are moving in the begining of February so I will be spending most of January getting organized and packed. Leslie will be changing schools because of the move too. I'm hoping this year will be MUCH better than last year! Wish me luck people!
