The Traveling Knitter
Hey All! Well, I must say it's HOT in Las Vagas but not so bad when you're sitting poolside! The kids are having a blast and it sure is nice to get away!
Now, I did indeed bring plenty of yarn with me for various projects. Here is a picture, FINALLY, of my Sweet Mary Janes!!! See Jen???
The other day while out with Lesa we came across some sales at Hobby Lobby. Well actually it is becoming popular belief that sales appear because Lesa walks past!!! Anyway, I picked up some cotton yarn to make some Ballband Washcloths. Although I haven't touched them yet, I still have to finish my SMJs. But I piced out some pretty colors.
We also came across some pretty Sinfonia sport weight cotton yarn. It was $.80 per skein! I picked up all they had and was still a few short to make eigther the Mimosa Wrap or the Boobalicious Tank from Big Girl Knits. Lesa popped by before we left for Vegas with a early little birthday gift.....the rest of the yarn I needed! How sweet is that. So for eigther project my total cost in yarn.....$4!!!! Not too shabby! Now I have to decide which project to start....hmmmm! I love them both so much!
OR
What do you think???
Happy Knitting Folks! Thank you, that is all!

Hey Girl! It's so good to see a pic of you & Leslie & Davey! All 3 of you look wonderful to me! Kids are getting so big. I miss you! You are really blazin with those knitting needles, love both the shawl thing & the tank top project you're going to start on but I really am digging those mary janes! They look very comfy! Wish we could get together someday soon. Have fun and hope you have a safe trip home. Love ya!
